Broken heart

How to deal with a broken heavy heart.

I have no idea! Do you know the moments in your life when things are going so good & BAM. A wrench is thrown in to interrupt your life. I had started my first post out hoping to fill in my day & days to come. I always knew I wanted to be a wife & mother. (My granddaughter is to the left) Being a grandmother is the gift from God for not killing your teenage kids! Just kidding. It is a gift. Really. Like it or not when your children grow, leave home, marry & have kids....All of a sudden you are a grandparent. I typed like it or not but who can honesty say that. We LOVE it. That little squirt grows & has you wrapped around their finger & they are grown all into your heart. Then your child tells you they are expecting again & you start having all these thoughts of another little joy in your life. Here is where the BAM comes in. The day had started out great. But she calls to say that she will be having a DNC Friday. She had miscarried yesterday morning at 14 weeks along. The baby to be...no more. A part of me....no more. My next grandchild....no more. My daughter & her husband....more. They will try again. More children will come. Just not now. Tears flow. A broken hearted grandmother. How to deal with a broken heart.

God moments come in your life when you least expect it. My craft project for the Wednesday night kindergarteners at church had already been planned a week in advance. That night just when I needed it most the heading & bible scripture was as follows. F.R.O.G.--Fully Rely on God.

*Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

*Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

*"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart!
I have overcome the world."
John 16:33

*For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this
not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works,
so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

*Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle
and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Matthew 11:29-30
